My experience working with children is extensive and has been a very dear and important part of my life. I am currently enrolled at the University of Windsor in a joint program studying Concurrent Education with a focus on Child Psychology, as well as Early Childhood Education at St. Clair College. I began my career with children working as a babysitter for various families, looking after children aged 6 months as well as 3, 7, and 12 years old. During high school I was also a tutor for students in grade 6, focusing on science and math. For the four years I was in high school I also volunteered my weekends to coach children aged 8-12 basketball as part of the St. Clair Mini Colts Program. More recently, I spent the last two summers as a full-time overnight camp counselor in Northern Ontario. I found all of these experiences to be extremely rewarding for not only my own knowledge and leadership development, but also saw the positive difference I was making in in the lives of these kids. I knew this was something I had a natural talent and passion for. Caring and teaching children is something I am extremely enthusiastic and passionate about and I hope I am given the opportunity to showcase my abilities to you.
I love getting outside and being active. My favorite sports include basketball, soccer, and volleyball. I love doing crafts and being creative. I have been very involved in dramatic arts. I am also interested in cooking.
