Experienced Support Worker, primarily in the disability field supporting adult clients in working towards their individual goals. Trained in aids for activities of daily living (i.e. dressing, preparing meals, feeding, showering, medication, toileting, etc.). Recognized for supporting clients in a respectful manner, and ability to build strong relationships with those whom I serve. I have some on the job training in a long-term care home setting with elderly residents, some whom had forms of dementia and other physical/mental health concerns. I have worked as a summer student with the recreation therapy team at a long-term care home, and am currently volunteering at a seniors manor with the recreation department. I am physically able to do any type of work. I currently do not have a driver's license.
