I have spent so much of my time dedicated to caring for babies and children, both at work and in volunteering.
I have been teaching Sunday school in my church and being a nursery attendant for 6 years now. I have been babysitting for 5 years as well. I volunteer to be a mentor to a lovely group of 12-13 year old girls in my church, and a leader for the youth in our church on Mexico missions trips each Spring.
I have previously worked as a full time Nanny for nearly a year, for three lovely little boys, as well as for a family with two girls and one boy. I have a lot of experience in the field.
In addition to that I have spent 3 years volunteering teaching swimming lessons for kids. I have worked in Aquatics for almost two and a half years now, leading birthday parties, playing games during public swim, and teaching lifesaving courses.
I just finished schooling at Columbia Bible College, and I am training to become a special education teacher with hopes to be working in an elementary school in the next two or so years. I have completed the classroom portion of the program and am finishing up my Practicum currently. Along with this, I have been substitute teaching in an elementary school for a few months whenever I have a day off work.
