I have never not had a pet, since the age of 7 when I had my first guinea pig, on to rabbits, dogs, cats, birds, always with a houseful of animals right the way through my first career as a horse trainer.

I have had animals with allergies and with skin conditions and am very adept at handling any animals that may require regular medication regimes. I am absolutely not afraid to handle any kind of mess (I've had an incontinent old dog who passed at age 17) and I am well versed in bringing up puppies, I've had all my dogs from litter.

I am super conscientious and very willing to abide by the guidelines that suit your animal. I see my job as a responsibility to make your pet feel safe and cared for, and to minimize any stress they may be experiencing with having you gone.

My last pet-sitting gig was with an extremely shy, previously abused, very scared rescue dog who was a jangle of nerves. She and I became great friends and her owners were able to truly relax on their holiday knowing that she was in good hands.
