  • About Me

    I have been in the Early Childhood field since 2001. I started off as an assistant in a toddler room and was promoted to Toddler Room Program Coordinator . I have worked in the South Dakota Head Start Early Childhood program with two and three year olds. My husband and I moved to Illinois for five years where I worked in Early Childhood centers in the infant and two year old rooms. We moved back home to South Dakota where I worked at Garfield Elementary School in their Preschool classroom. It had a combination of 3 to 5 year olds. It was a blended classroom which means it had children coming from low income families and children with special needs. I love dogs but unfortunately have a severe cat allergy. I have my AAS Paralegal degree and my Child Development Associate Certificate along with many CEU's in Child Development. You are probably wondering why am I not working as a Paralegal. I fell in love with working with children and it is what truly makes me happy! We moved to Arizona in April because my husband took a job at Mayo Hospital. I love reading, doing art and sensory activities and being very active with the children in my care. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to email me!!
