Hello. I am an energetic female university student currently attending Douglas College. I am taking studies in the psychology field in the direction of becoming a behaviour analyst for autistic children. Within the next year, I will be transferring to SFU to begin completing my concentration.
In my spare time I play rugby for Burnaby Lake Rugby Club as well as coaching the mini rugby program for children age 4 to 7 years. I helped design daily activities for children of various ages; combined with my childcare experience I learned how difficult it can be to manage the varying needs of children in diverse stages of development, which lead to the development of my ability to care for each child individually.
I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for the children in my care. I believe in creating a positive, fun atmosphere for children, one in which they feel protected and happy. I have good organizational and communication skills, which I believe are among the most important skills for a nanny.
I don’t mind doing extra duties for you, like cleaning and cooking dinner for the entire family. I work well with other people, thanks to my friendly and caring nature, and am sure I will make a good team with you and your family.
