My name is Cassidy and I am the oldest of ten siblings! Growing up I was always surrounded by kids of all ages and was helping my mom from very early on in my life. I have nannied professionally only within the past six months. Before this I was an aide for children with special needs and would help out friends looking after their children. I have worked in many varying fields throughout my life including landscaping, customer service, and book keeping however; I have never felt like I quite fit within those fields. Because of my extensive back ground with children I really feel that is where I am best qualified and where I feel the most myself. While nannying in Barrie Ontario I was responsible for the care of two children seven and eleven. I cooked meals, did all the groceries, planned the meal schedules for the week, coordinated children's appointments and school activities, maintained the house as well as did all the laundry. I also have a strong background in working with kids with varying mental health specialties. My family fostered children from all different backgrounds and because of that I am blessed with a very sweet brother with anxiety disorder, ADHD, and cerebral palsy. I am very capable in regards to running a household and looking after kids. I am organized and truly do enjoy improving systems to make them work as seamlessly as possible. I have a good understanding of a family that has so much going on there never seems to be time just to enjoy one another and that is where a nanny comes in. If I am able to undertake some of the extras within a home to enable the family members to enjoy quality time with each other then I would call it a job well done. Because of my experience and capabilities I generally charge thirteen dollars an hour as a starting wage- however all circumstances are different and I am open to discussions regarding your comfort levels in payment.
