I am a senior (61 years) working at home due to the pandemic protocol. My current work is weekdays, but anticipate flexibility. My usual employment is computer work, but I really miss the people interaction I could find with some other form of employment. I do have a medium-small dog (Schitzu-Brussels Griffin cross) that I could take with me or leave at home during employment. My dog could actually be an asset for someone that needs uncomplicated compassion. I have a special interest in people that are struggling emotionally or are withdrawn, and could come with a deeper understanding, although I have not had formal training for special care. As a young single senior, I have extra time on my hands and would be anxious to enter into someone's life to make a difference. I recently lost my dad who was elderly and had emotional struggles due to being put in a home. I understand the hurts and feelings of abandonment that came come on someone with restricted living and the need to simply be involved in life events.
