I am a very down-to-earth, former Bachelor of Education student looking to take a year off and gain more experience caring and looking after the joys we call children! love being active and getting outdoors, and having children to share that with is an added bonus! My love for children has been instilled through my many years of babysitting and caring for children in various households. Throughout the years I have surrounded myself with children, volunteering with children through coaching Minor League Baseball and assistant-teaching dance classes with my local dance club. I have had the privilege of caring for kids (babysitting) aged 1 up to age 13, and would be interested in watching over any age and number of children. As I am extremely creative and outgoing, I enjoy many different activities such as swimming, softball, reading, painting, crafts, being in the outdoors, learning new languages (I have some basic Spanish under my belt so far), and sports such as badminton, soccer, tennis and running.
Friends and family describe a few of my greatest attributes as being:
Patient- which allows me to be dynamic and resilient when dealing with different children and situations.
Funny- I enjoy laughing and having fun!
Understanding- I am extremely compassionate and caring, and love to help others.
I also love to help children to excel with their homework and learning (which is why I am going to be a teacher!) and would thoroughly enjoy helping kids with homework, learning how to read, times, etc. :)
